Aaron Siskind is known to be one of the greatest photographers of all time. Siskinds photographs focus in on well known images to to emphasize on specific detail. At times it is hard to tell was Siskinds true image is, but the focus is on the detail, lines, and contrast that give Siskinds photos such great effect. The photograph that I took of the leaf is a strong representation of a Siskind photo, due to there being many different ways to view it, not knowing what the true image is, and there being various different kinds of detail. My other picture is hard to tell exactly what it is, but it shows great detail with ots different levels and pieces of straw and dirt on the different levels. I ultimately tried to capture Siskinds style of photography while taking my my photographs and hope that viewers can see the effort I put in to try and capture her true style.
